Joseph Alesia

About

An honors graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois, Joseph Alesia earned a bachelor's degree in aviation management before accepting his current position as manager of terminal operations and passenger experience at Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. Previously, he served as O'Hare's airside operations manager, a role in which he directly supervised approximately 500 staff members. In his current position, Joseph Alesia leverages more than 20 years of leadership experience to manage the budgeting, policy decisions, staff performance, and operations of more than 4 million square feet of terminal space.

Alongside his work at O'Hare International Airport, Mr. Alesia owns and operates a construction business that has completed hundreds of construction/installation projects for big-box retailers. His accomplishments in the construction field include earning designations as a master carpenter and master tile setter. He is also highly skilled in working with both plumbing and electrical systems.

A licensed pilot, Joseph Alesia enjoys flying in his free time. His other hobbies include woodworking, cabinetmaking, and photography. Additionally, he maintains affiliations with professional organizations such as the American Association of Airport Executives and the Chicago Area Business Aviation Association.
